Latvian breed. Stems pink to green, very thick, thicker than other species. Up to 90 cm long. Only the stalks are used in food, from which compotes, marmalade, jam, flatbreads, cakes, pies, tarts, salsa, juice are made, they can also be frozen and used in winter. Rhubarb can be harvested several times until autumn, it must not be allowed to overgrow, because then oxalic acid accumulates in it. You have to pick all the time until they grow. Do not cook in cast iron or aluminum containers.
