One of the earlier varieties. Stems red, greenish at the top. Only the stalks are used in food, from which compotes, marmalade, jam, flatbreads, cakes, pies, tarts, salsa, juice are made, they can also be frozen and used in winter. Grows well in moist, humus-rich soil. It can be grown in one place for 10 or more years. Rhubarb can be harvested several times until autumn, it must not be allowed to overgrow, because then oxalic acid accumulates in it. You have to pick all the time until they grow. Do not cook in cast iron or aluminum containers.
